The Kennebec Valley Humane Society needs volunteers on a daily basis to assist with a variety of tasks. KVHS would not exist without the help of our generous and dedicated volunteers. Can you picture yourself walking dogs? Socializing with a cat? Or grooming bunnies? Maybe dishes and laundry is your cup of tea? Additional help is needed on a daily basis with cat kennel cleaning and feeding and working with animals at our satellite locations.
Aside from animal care there is much more to running an animal shelter. We can also use assistance behind the reception desk, on our committees, assisting with fundraising and special events or simply with vet transports and donation pick-ups.
The volunteer opportunities at the KVHS are too numerous to mention. Our hours are flexible and signing up is easy. Please start by filling out a volunteer application below. Once the application is submitted our volunteer coordinator with contact you to get started.
