"My husband and I have adopted 2 cats from KVHS in the last few years - Picasso (black and white) and Diego (white and orange). We adopted Picasso when he was 5 moths old and what a sweet and curious little friend he has been. Since we brought him home almost 2 years ago he has been like my personal assistant; he follows me everywhere and loves to be in the kitchen to help me cook and do the dishes. About 3 months ago we adopted Diego (10 weeks old) as we thought Picasso could use a friend and we saw that KVHS had many kittens that needed homes. Diego LOVES everyone and toys...oh, the toys. He has also become an assistant to us and loves to take naps on our chests. Both kitties sleep with us and have lots of fun chasing each other at night. They have each been a constant source of love and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to adopt them. KVHS is a wonderful place, with kind staff members to love these fur friends until they can find their forever homes."
